Tsunami Education Fund

The Tsunami Education Fund aims to support the educational needs of primary and secondary aged school children orphaned by the December 2004 tsunami. The fund identifies, monitors and supports the education of Acehnese school aged children orphaned by the tsunami. Each orphan receives a grant every month to meet their educational needs while in full time education. RICE has supported TEF for a period of 5 years.
